Carpenter Job in Davidson, North Carolina

I have a handmade wooden chandelier (a souvenir) that I'd like to install, but before doing that, I would like to have the wooden beam that forms its center reinforced. At the ends of the beam where light fixtures have been drilled in, the wood appears to be splitting. Ideally, I'd like something to be installed or tied around the beam at either end (rather than drilling through it again).
