The Carpenter maintains and repairs architectural systems, furnishings and storage systems using hand and power tools. The Carpenter installs medical equipment in clinics and patients rooms. He/she works with blueprints and technical drawings.
Required Qualifications:
- Recognized & valid competency certificate in general carpentry from Ontario or Quebec
- Trade or vocational school graduate with courses in carpentry, woodworking, locksmithing, blueprint, reading mechanical drawing and mathematics
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in General Carpentry
- Ability to offer tactful, courteous client-centered service to a varied clientele (patients, families, employees, etc.)
