Carpenter in Richmond, Virginia

I am very interested in becoming a carpenters helper. I do not have an official resume I can post you as all of my construction experience comes from helping my dad with various projects over the years. But to answer some questions: - I am over 18 (25 yrs old) - I have a drivers license and reliable transportation (Ford F150 which I can use to help haul materials if needed) - I am very self motivated but I'll just have to prove that to you on the job site! - I am familiar with most power tools, and even come with my own set of tools! A physically demanding job is no problem for me, I am young and in shape. I can be on my feet for as long as you need me and have no problem at all lifting and moving heavy things all day long. This job is not just about the money to me. I am interested in learning general construction/ carpentry skills for other reasons. I know I don't have much carpentry experience, but I can figure out most anything. Especially with the right guidance. I hope you will consider me for the job despite the lack of official experience. I am actually currently living in St Louis but I will be moving to the Richmond area around the middle of August. I was hoping to line up a job to start on September 1st.
