Carpenter Job in Wilmer, Alabama

Local General Contracting Company is seeking a Quality Lead Carpenter with VERIFIABLE construction and supervisory experience. Qualifications include: Outstanding Leadership Skills, Ability to confront others with authority, yet maintaining a professional attitude, Willing to wear personal tools, work with the carpenters, order materials and keep a quality finish on schedule, Ability to Read and follow architectural/construction plans, comprehension of Steel/Wood Framing, Sheet Rock (no finishing), Drop Ceilings, Concrete, Finish Carpentry. Please do Not apply if you do NOT meet these qualifications. MUST BE ABLE TO START WORK IMMEDIATELY. Candidates must have reliable transportation to local job sites, must possess their own hand tools/tool bag, Must have a dependable, reliable work ethic and an understanding of OSHA safety guidelines. Candidates that consider talking on the phone, texting or standing around watching others work need NOT apply. Candidates that habitually cannot show up ON TIME for work or need to leave early from work, need NOT apply. Candidates should not have personal lifestyles that interfere with their ability to work sober and be focused while on the job. Compensation will be an hourly wage that is based on skill level and experience. Base pay starts at $16 an hour with unlimited hourly earning potential.
