Carpenter Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

L&N Urban Builder Ltd. has two open permanent full-time positions of a drywall installer/taper. There is no education requirement for this position, but candidates must have at least two years of experience as a taper. Job duties will include measuring and cutting wallboard (drywall/sheetrock/cement board/"flexible drywall") sheets to size; trimming rough wallboard edges to maintain even joints; installation and securing of wallboard sheets, installation of corner beads; filling seams, dents and holes with drywall mud; even and smooth out cured joints etc. This position is permanent, full-time, base salary is $25.00 hourly plus standard company benefits (4 % vacation pay). Working shifts and/or weekends may be required. The company is located at 1290 Keith Rd East, North Vancouver, BC; actual work locations will be in the same area and throughout Greater Vancouver area.
