Carpenter Job in Elizabeth, Colorado

We are looking for a Lead Craftsman/Carpenter to assist a growing residential remodeling business in Elizabeth, Colorado. The primary duties of the Lead Craftsman are scheduling and meeting sub-contractors, assisting with proper “work flow” and working alongside the owner on projects to include, but not limited to home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels and finishing basements. The “Golden Rule” and “To Be or Not to Be.” Preferred Skills: • Performs journeyman quality work in the maintenance, repair, construction, alteration, forming, framing, installation and finishing of remodeling projects. • Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in skilled carpentry and in general maintenance and repair. • Very high attention to detail – please don't apply if this isn't a great asset you bring to the game. • Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing. • Ability to organize and monitor numerous projects. • Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision. • Initiative and the ability to figure things out on your own. • Comfortable with change and working in unknown situations. • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. • A positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. This will start out part-time at $15 to $20 per hour and will grow accordingly. You will also be hired as a contracted laborer and will be required to fill out a W-9 for tax purposes.
