Imperial Exterior Enterprise Inc. Has Teen open permanent full-time carpenter positions. Skills requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma and over three years of work experience in the trade. Job duties: • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes. • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Work with power/hand tools. • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Install floor beams, fit and install trim items such as doors, windows. • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures. • Operates carpentry tools such as power and manual planes, saws, routers, shapers, drills, etc. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications: • Candidates are expected to have a good attitude and like working with others. • Be punctual and self-motivated. • Physical ability/willingness to do heavy work, work at required heights, in all types of weather. Candidates with a background in both framing and siding are preferred. English is a language on the job site. This position is permanent, full-time, salary depends on the experience from $30.00 to $37 hourly and overtime rate is from $45.00 to $55.50 per hour after 8 hours per day plus 4% vacation pay. The Company offers medical and dental benefits. We also ready to pay for the ticket for the skilled carpenter to re-locate to Vancouver BC from other parts of Canada. Carpenters willing to work part-time or flexible hours are welcome. On-the-job training may be considered for apprentices. Actual work locations will be throughout the Great Vancouver Area.
