Full Time worker needed for high end concrete forms. Looking for a person who is adaptable, not set in their ways, a quick learner, responsible, dependable and hard working to join our growing company. Must be efficient in using tools: chop saw, drill, nail guns, sanders, table saw and jig saw. Must be precise in measuring ( /- 1/32). Must be able to read plans. Bondo work a plus. Rubber mold making is also a plus, Heaving lifting is sometimes required. Full time 40 hours position M-F. Must have own transportation and valid drivers license. Review job files with Shop Manager prior to mold building to prepare and properly schedule build time frames. 2. Responsible to adhere to production schedule. Problem solve and find assistance in order solve the issues. 3. Coordinate daily duties of mold assistant and journeyman to accomplish goal. 4. Delegate and preform daily cleaning and organization duties. a. Mold Room will be kept to a daily broom cleaning b. Thorough vacuuming of shop floor on a weekly basis c. Scraps will be neatly staged, thrown away by the end of the day. d. All tools will have homes and boxes made to hold accessories for that tool if necessary e. All tools will be clearly marked and have a specific placement to be understood by all mold shop personnel and managers. 5. Plan for shop improvements and/or organization to stabilize or increase production and improve flow of department 6. Molds to be ready at the latest the day BEFORE it is due to be sprayed. 7. Required to utilize approved overtime only to have molds ready early 8. Responsible for all tools and materials in mold area. 9. If tool inventory is not met in the department, the whole department is responsible for replacement at their own cost. 10. Responsible to prepare purchase orders submitted to Shop manager 1 week prior to expected lead times for needed materials. 11. When your schedule is affected by outside events or oversights in other departments it is your responsibility to record these events with the shop manager and if multiple occurrences are not addressed after three times you must go to the Production Manager with record of re-occurring issues.
