Carpenter Job in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description: Do you enjoy building and remodeling but don't want to do the heavy lifting? Do you have an interest or passion for teaching and mentoring? Apex Construction and Tile is looking for someone who is passionate about home remodeling and wants to share that love of building with a new generation. We need a mentor/teacher with estimating and project management experience who would like to manage projects from start to finish by supervising and mentoring minimally experienced general laborers who wish to learn the trade. (Use of licensed subcontractors is fully supported for projects when necessary) Required job skills: -experience and skill in bidding and estimating project time and costs -experience as a contractor and project management -must embrace diversity in the workplace -must be comfortable with and willing to use technology, like YouTube, to supplement on the job training. Desired job skills: -previous contracting experience as a master electrician or master carpenter
