DESCRIPTION Position Summary To fabricate door panels according to customer specification and company policies. Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities Ability to add hardware to door panels Ability to use various hand tools. Ability to receive and interpret order tickets Must be capable of operating all sub-assembly, final assembly and other specialty equipment. Ability to use pneumatic tools Standard multi slide frame building preparation Wheel preparation and installation Hinge prep and installation Packages all types of doors, fixtures and tools Standard MS and BF lock preparation and installation Packaging of materials with proper labeling to be shipped Meet daily quotas for the different functions in all areas. Ensure quality checks are performed and documented Perform daily safety checks and document Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors Perform job duties in a safe manner Maintains workstation in neat and clean condition. Perform all required quality checks and report any defects to QC Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested. Inform Supervisor of any issues with operation, safety or quality Must wear proper PPE at all times and conform to all safety rules and regulations Performs other related duties as assigned by management. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Router experience required Experience in residential doors and windows, mortising of doors, manufacturer or residential roughing in/framing required Must have good small dexterity skills Must have general math skills; Able to read manufacturing drawings Basic electronics knowledge Legible handwriting Must be able to read and write English Must be able to lift minimal of 50 pounds frequently
