Carpenter Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a very busy and award winning Design/Build and Renovation Company servicing the GTA for over 30 years Our company specializes in residential additions, interior alterations, kitchens, bathrooms and basements. We are looking for an experienced (10- 15 years ) Carpenter/handyman to join our team as a working Lead Carpenter /Project Manager. A motivated leader with Integrity, that is hard working with knowledge in all aspects in the residential construction field and a strong understanding of structural, rough and fine carpentry. A problem solver that is not afraid to think outside the box and can be precise and adaptable putting quality first is a must. A person able to work both independently and with others as a team that is polite and courteous but firm with strong people and communication skills that will empress and demand respect form clients, staff and sub-trades. We are a work safe company that conforms to the OHSA, and we generate 44 hour work weeks all year round. We expect our skilled working Lead Carpenter /Project Manager to have a proper work vehicle and tools and have or attain proper certification to work on construction sites in Ontario. (Working at Heights, WHIMS, CPR/First Aid, MOL Supervisory) Wage set based on assessment of capabilities, experience, training, etc. ($30-$35 hourly)
