Job Location: Lancaster PA – Territory coverage includes the following counties: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, York, and occasionally Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, and Mifflin Rapidly growing franchise seeks a highly motivated, experienced individual to install wheelchair ramps, stair glides, vertical and incline wheelchair platform lifts, and accessibility home modifications. We are a small, growing, profitable and fast-paced company, looking for the right person to join our team. Job Description: The ideal candidate is experienced in any one or more of the various home construction trades (preferably carpentry), with a good working knowledge of construction trades and practices. The candidate should have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, fast learner, team player, and have good communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Picking materials and loading truck & warehouse • Communicating with staff members • Communicating directly with customers • Properly installing wheelchair ramps, vertical & incline lifts, grab bars, automatic door openers, stair glides, and more • Home modifications to meet accessibility requirements (Walk-in-Showers, Walk-in-Tubs, Roll-in-Showers, Door Widening, and Interior & Exterior Railings) • Performing project evaluations • Creating sketches/drawings of proposed solutions • Assisting with project estimates This is an exciting opportunity to join a focused team in a results-oriented environment and contribute to society by helping the elderly and people who are disabled.
