Carpenter Job in Kenora, Ontario

I am a level one apprentice carpenter with an interest in sustainable and accessible design. I completed the Future Builders Pre-Apprenticeship Program in July 2019 in Ottawa where I obtained my Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid & CPR, and Aerial Lift/Elevating Work Platform Operator certifications. I also completed a 300 hour work placement during this time with Morgan Quality Homes where I learned valuable skills such as framing, design, roofing, decks, fences, drywalling, and finishing work. Prior to entering the trades, I worked for six years in the media as as radio host, reporter, and producer. My communications skills have helped me develop strong professional relationships with my clients and coworkers.
