EGM Builders is a self performing general contractor seeking an experienced Carpenter, with the talent to be able to motivate and be part of an EGM crew from demolition through turnover. We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of experience in Commercial Carpentry. The skills required include the following: ability to read plans and specifications; layout of walls and soffits. Experience with metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, installation of doors/frames/hardware. Individual must also have own transportation and a willingness to work in New York City and Northern NJ, OSHA Certification is a plus.
