Hello, my name is Michael Davis. I am a young carpenter eager to learn. Throughout grade school and some college, I always loved and took woodshop classes. After that I began working for DSI as a residential trim carpenter. Where I was trained very well by a great foreman. I was taught quality first, and then speed once I was proficient. In my free time I have made and sold tables, some custom shelf enclosures, and skateboard ramps. I recently stepped back into trim carpentry. However, I do not really want to work for a big production company again. I would rather work for a smaller company where I can learn new tasks, take my love for carpentry further, and enjoy my job more. As a trim carpenter I am proficient with baseboard, closet shelving, hanging doors, and installing hardware. Anything that I don't know, I am eager to learn.
