I of course started building skateboard ramps and tree forts and then wood shop in junior high and wood shop and metal shop in high school. I started framing in high school and hung my first door when I was twelve and it is still hanging and working today. I worked as a set builder starting at nineteen for pro scenery, design setters, cinnabar, and Mobil mill none union. I built steel buildings such as Mueller buildings from the underground to the lifts that were installed at finish. The plumbing the conduit the forms the concrete the raising of the steel to the vents in the roof then the installation of the roll-up doors. Then because a union rep saw me doing this on a few of them I was granted an international iron workers union card without going threw the four year apprenticeship program. This was in Arizona when I was asked to go there to build a house for my dad. When I was finished a contractor ask me if I could build these steel buildings and I said of course, so I did seven of them for him running the whole project for all of them.
