Design/Build firm is seeking a carpentry foreman to hit the ground running. This person should be a master at carpentry, from framing to finish, performing all types of hands-on field work. Responsibilities also include coordinating with subcontractors, communicating status updates to project management, leading (and sometimes teaching) other crew members, and helping maintain time and budget guidelines. Carpenters are in high demand - but at THS we value your skills and we understand how important your craft is to the success of this company. We are finding that carpenters who run their own business are often underestimating labor costs, using narrow profit margins when bidding, and wasting too much time gathering materials and dealing with sales, quotes and permits.
