Hello there, My name is Steve Wood. I am trying something new here on CL by running an ad in hopes of getting responses instead of being the responder. I have 15 years of experience in the trade industries. I have had my hands busy doing a wide range of things basically from your shingles down I've got u covered. The majority of my experience is in complete flips kitchens, bathrooms, basements, etc. My favorites and areas I'm most proffecient in (not in any particular order) include but are not limited to doors, windows, interior/exterior trim, decks repaired or new, flooring (vinyl plank/dimensional, ceramic tile, hardwood), framing, roofing, gutters and siding. Although it probably could be left unsaid that the tasks listed are typically a bit more in depth, not standard hunny-do type of things. So for all your handyman type of things... I'm a punch list knock out. Meaning while I seal that leaky window and fix that door that doesn'T shut right anymore you kick your feet up basking in kmowing your ever growing home owners headache is suddenly not so terrible as we make that list disappear! :-) While I am talented and well versed in many areas I will say this... I am not an electrician by any means nor a plumber. That doesn't mean I won't change a light fixture or outlet. Or I can't replace a length of cracked pipe. What Im saying is if u have an issue and I troubleshoot and come up drawing a blank that's where I tell you to call my plumber or electrician. I am armed with a working knowledge and I know when to say when. Also I am not to big on painting or spackle work. Again I am capable and willing in certain circumstances to do minor bits of either and I'm good at it, just don't care for it. So there you have my do's and don'ts. If you are still unsure or I didn't mention something u have on your mind please don't hesitate to ask. I'm a very honest (ocassionally to a fault), hard working, young man. I have hopes and dreams of one day soon being the sole proprietor of "WOODS CREATIONS LLC" (my companies name) the number #1 home improvements contractor on the east coast. To reach that dream I'm starting with the attainable, starting local and trying to grow a reputation for being clear on all aspects of projects, going above and beyond what's expected, being punctual and available to work with my clients at any point in the project. And basically giving my clients an experience seldom had when dealing with contractors in this day and age. I take pride in everything I do and my work speaks for itself. Can't say I've ever had a complaint from a client. I even have a couple frequent flyers that call for everything from changing lights to repairing and resurfacing their deck.
